Warrington Shop to Re-Open in October

Book Aid Warrignton shop

Book Aid Warrington shop

Book Aid is very pleased to announce that plans are underway to reopen the Warrington Book Shop from October 2016.  The shop will be managed by Pastor Stephen Holland and his team of volunteers. It will open on Mondays and Saturdays from 10-4.  Stephen has spoken of his passion to see good Christian literature available on the UK high street.

Prayer Requested

Please pray that word will spread that Book Aid is opening again.  We are thrilled that Joy and Doug Wood continue to make the premises available for the ministry which has played a significant part in raising funds to support Book Aid’s overseas ministry.

  1. I did not know that the Warrington shop had closed. What number of hours minimum does the Warrington book shop require from volunteers? I mean, the Warrington shop is to opened Miondays and Saturdays from 10.00 till 4.00 pm. Can I for instance volunteer from say 1.00 pm till 4.00’pm….an afternoon shift of 3 hours? What would I be expected to do, and do you use a till to collect the money from books bought? I wish you well at Warrington….I do not drive and I’m currently located near Ellesmere Port in the Wirral….Overpool station is my nearest train station. I would not normally enjoy workimg at a shop….but if there is no till, I may consider voluntering at Warrington. Thank you, Leigh Powell
