Book Aid is very pleased to announce that plans are underway to reopen the Warrington Book Shop from October 2016.  The shop will be managed by Pastor Stephen Holland and his team of volunteers. It will open on Mondays and Saturdays from 10-4.  Stephen has spoken of his passion to see good Christian literature available on the UK high street.

Prayer Requested

Please pray that word will spread that Book Aid is opening again.  We are thrilled that Joy and Doug Wood continue to make the premises available for the ministry which has played a significant part in raising funds to support Book Aid’s overseas ministry.

Closure of Book Aid Warrington Shop

Book Aid Warrington shopBook Aid is sad to have to announce the closure of their shop in Warrington.  Joy and Doug Wood have run the shop since 2009 with the help of a committed team of volunteers, but as a result of recent health problems they are now unable to continue. Discussions are underway with other Christian retailers about the future of the Warrington building.

Book Aid has benefitted enormously from the commitment and knowledge of the Christian literature ministry Joy and Doug have brought to the Warrington shop during the last 8 years.  As a book collecting point in the Merseyside area and as a retail shop raising funds to help send containers to our overseas partners their contribution has been significant.  Their involvement will be sorely missed and we wish them every blessing for the future.

The Warrington Book Aid shop will close on 30 July 2016.

Book Aid is continuing to sell books in the UK from its 4 other shops in:

For information about other collecting points or for more details of our other shops please check out our website or phone 0208 778 2145.

We would like to thank all the staff, customers and donors for their support at Warrington during the last 8 years.
